MSc Student - UFRGS

I’m a marine biologist. My research field is the study of the environmental dynamics and their impact on species that live there. Currently, I’m studying my master in Ecology (UFRGS). In my thesis I will study the behavior of a tropical seabird (Phaethon aethereus) and the characterization of its foraging areas.

Undergraduate student - UFRGS

Undergraduate student of marine biology. Ecology and conservation of seabirds and shorebirds are my main areas of interest in both research and environmental education. I also have great interest in marine pollution, mainly from plastic materials. I am currently developing my Bachaelor thesis on the potential of shorebirds and seabirds as bioindicators of microplastics pollution in the marine-coastal environment.

I am a PhD student in biological oceanography and my work is focused on shorebird ecology. In my thesis, I am interested in understanding the mechanisms of habitat use and resource partitioning by shorebirds, using conventional methodologies, stable isotope and molecular analysis. I also intend to estimate poulations sizes and  trends of shorebirds that use southern Brazil as a wintering area.

I’m an undergraduate student of marine biology. Currently I’m studying trophic ecology of seabirds breeding in the Abrolhos archipelago, mainly tropicbirds and boobies. I also like plants and how they interact with the environment.

I’m an undergraduate student of Marine Biology interested in Biodiversity and Conservation, Community Ecology, Landscape Ecology, Ecosystem Services and Ethnoecology. Currently, I’m working in my Bachelor thesis analyzing spatiotemporal effects (i.e. circadian rhythm and urbanization) on shorebird community in the southernmost region of Brazil. Furthermore, I’m collaborating in an environmental education project which is focused at promoting shorebirds, and community engagement for marine conservation.

I am a marine biologist currently doing my master in Ecology. I am working with trophic ecology of the American Oystercatcher, a shorebird breeding in the southernmost region of the Brazilian coast. I am interested in understanding the impact of the coastal urbanization on marine organisms.
