About me
I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Pure and Applied Mathematics (DMPA) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. My work sits at the intersection of two quite different areas ofthematics: harmonic analysis and evolutionary game theory.
In harmonic analysis, I focus on weighted theory — studying how classical operators behave when the underlying measure is modified by a weight function. In evolutionary game theory, I am interested in how cooperation and competition emerge from simple interaction rules in large populations over time.
I am also a faculty member of the Graduate Program in Mathematics (PPGMAP) at UFRGS and the Regional Coordinator of OBMEP (Brazilian Mathematical Olympiad for Public Schools) for the region RS01, Rio Grande do Sul.
I did my PhD in Mathematics at the University of New Mexico, advised by Prof. Cristina Pereyra, supported by a Fulbright scholarship.
