I worked as associate professor at the University of Brasilia between 2009 and 2011, and since 2011 I am associate professor in Philosophy at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. From March 2017 to February 2018, I was an academic visitor at the University of Edinburgh.

I have been working on problems at the interface between epistemology, general philosophy of science and philosophy of mind, such as the new riddle of induction, the myth of the given, radical skepticism and questions concerning the nature of perceptual experience and its epistemic status. More recently, I started to approach some of these epistemological problems from an enactive view of the mind.
