I am associate professor in Philosophy at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. From March 2017 to February 2018, I was an academic visitor at the University of Edinburgh. Since 2016 I hold a scholarship as Productive Researcher from CNPq. I'm also member of the Enactive Cognition & Narrative Practices Research Group (University of Wollongong).

I have been working on themes and problems at the interface between epistemology, general philosophy of science and philosophy of cognitive sciences, such as the nature of cognition, knowledge how, the myth of the given, social perception, the epistemic status of perceptual experience, and the relation between perception and action. In my current research, I approach some of these themes and problems from an enactive and ecological view of the mind.
