I am an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. I was a graduate student at UFRGS, where I received my Ph.D. in 2017 with a thesis entitled 'Between Bargaining and Deliberation: Notes on the Philosophical Foundations of Contemporary Democratic Theories.' I am especially interested in Contemporary Political Philosophy at the intersection of the fields of Political Theory, particularly democratic theory, theories of justice, political representation, the history of political thought, and the philosophy of social sciences, particularly political science and economics. This leads me to address a range of topics in political philosophy (public reason, reasons, rationality), political theory (political representation), and social sciences (models of democracy). In addition, I continue to work on issues in democratic theory, which was the focus of my Ph.D. dissertation (public deliberation, bargaining, political representation). I am currently working on the crisis of representative democracy, democracy and populism, and Rousseau's political philosophy.
