Prof. Lucas received his Bachelor's in Biological Sciences from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2005), Masters (2007) and PhD (2011) in Neuroscience from University Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. He became Assistant Professor in the Biophysics Department at UFRGS in 2014. During his whole career, he has studied distinct aspects of the neurobiology of learning and memory.
