General information and research field

Lúcia Helena Ribeiro Rodrigues is a Biologist (1996 – PUCRS, Brazil) and PhD in Water Resources and Sanitary Engineering (2009 – UFRGS, Brazil). Presently works in the Hydraulic Research Institute of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, Brazil). Research field is related mainly with the trophic structure and ecosystems dynamics of subtropical lakes and reservoirs. A special interest is directed to the dynamics of the food webs and the flow of energy and matter by using stable isotopes, aiming to improve experimental and theoretical tools for ecosystem management. Recent research is focused on sensors to collect data at high frequencies for monitoring of lakes and reservoirs.
