Adjunct professor at the Department of Pure and Applied Mathematics at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.

Current interests: hyperbolic conservation laws, numerical methods for PDEs, finite volume methods, Lagrangian-Eulerian methods, flow in porous media, high performance parallel computing.

Former postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Petroleum Studies (CEPETRO/Unicamp) on the project "Multiscale Methods for Simulating Oil Reservoirs", in partnership with the University of São Paulo (USP/São Carlos) and the University of Texas (UTD/Dallas). Graduated in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (2010), Master in Applied Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (2013) and PhD in Applied Mathematics from the State University of Campinas (2017).
