Andre R. Muniz has received his B.S and M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) - Brazil, and his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Massachusetts Amherst. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. His research interests are in the area of computational materials science and carbon-based nanomaterials.
